INTRODUCTION TO THE CONTEMPORARY CLAYS
This unique one day class is designed to showcase the versatility of three contemporary clays:
Precious Metal Clay - use metal clay to create charms
Air Dry Clay – hand form beads or embellish a vessel
Polymer Clay – create a unique cover for your own journal or sketch book
This class focuses heavily on techniques: - you will learn about the techniques used to prepare the different clays for use, the importance of finishing your piece professionally, application of surface embellishments, construction and methods used for adhering your clay to other objects.
Three innovative projects will be covered allowing you to continue to create different projects independently.
